As essential instrument to strengthen the economic power in Lower Saxony it focuses as of now the promotion function of the state. The city of Emden among others is Objective 2- promotion area of the European Union and is designed to promote according to the regulations of the framework of the Common Assignment “Improvement of the regional economic structure” . In case of fulfilment of the conditions of promotion an investment grant up to 18 % of the investment costs can be allowed. Projects of trade incl. tourist trade can be supported. The department of the City of Emden likes to advice you on the possibilities of promotion and is of service for you in filing of an application.
